A recap of our Emergency Preparedness Awareness Training
On October 4, 2024, Spitak Helsinki Group conducted an Emergency Preparedness Awareness Training. The training was led by the Commander of the Spitak Rescue Squad of the Lori Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Mr. Armen Matinyan, who provided valuable and engaging information.
Key points covered during the event:
Safety during natural disasters: Participants learned essential safety measures to protect themselves and their loved ones during earthquakes, floods, and other natural disasters. Considering the regional characteristics, special emphasis was placed on earthquakes and wartime situations, aiming for a more practical training experience.
As a result of the event, participants now feel more confident and prepared to respond appropriately during emergencies and avoid panic.
